At an early age Malisa was introduced to community service.  With assistance from family and friends, they would volunteer at food pantries, and she witnessed firsthand the need to participate and give back. 

 

Our Hands Together is a nonprofit organization that Malisa formed that provides resources to struggling families to ensure they receive nutritional food and hygiene products not readily available. With the assistance from the team, they volunteer at senior citizen facilities, conduct holiday toy drives for children and coat drives for the brutal Chicago winters.

 

"Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion,

for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times,

having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.'"
